It will work anywhere in the world where there is a GSM cell phone network and the GSM-AUTO can receive a signal

Yes it is not locked to any network so it can be used with any GSM network provider

No you will need to provide a sim card

This depends on how you will be using the GSM-AUTO and the country you are in
What power supply do I need?
You need to provide a 12 or 24V DC power supply capable of supplying 500mA
Do I need an antenna?
The GSM-AUTO is shipped with an integral antenna, if required there is an SMA connection to use an external antenna
Do I have to use a cell phone to activate the GSM-AUTO?
No it can be activated using a landline
Can it be activated from another country?
The GSM-AUTO can be activated from anywhere in the world as long as you have access to a telephone
Can anyone activate the GSM-AUTO by calling it?
Yes and no, the GSM-AUTO can work in open access mode whereby it will respond to any call made to it, or secure access mode when it will only respond to authorized numbers
How do I keep my pre-pay SIM card active, my network operator will disconnect if there is no outgoing call activity for 6 months?
Simply send the GSM-AUTO a SMS text message requesting the signal strength level, it will reply by sending you a SMS text message, do this every 3 months or as required and your SIM card will remain active
What are the call costs?
The GSM-AUTO uses the cell phone network and the same as a cell phone it has a SIM card, when you call the GSM-AUTO it rejects the call without answering and switches on the device connected to it so there are no call costs incurred. When the GSM-AUTO is initially programmed it sends a confimation sms text message and this will be charged at your network operators rate.
Can it be switched on and off by sending an SMS text message?
Yes, remote control by sms message, simply send it a sms text message to switch any of the relays on or off
Does the GSM-AUTO retain its settings when power is removed?
It has a non-volatile memory and will store the settings in the event of a power interuption
